Service area

At-home fitting services are available within 5 miles of our NYC location serving Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, as well as within a 10-mile radius of our Red Bank, New Jersey shop. If you’re located outside these service areas, please contact us info@midcitytailoring.com  to discuss availability. 

Service fees

The service fee of $195  includes the on-site private fitting and consultation. Alterations and return delivery are billed separately.

confidential appointments

For privacy-sensitive clients, we offer confidential in-home or hotel fittings upon request. Scheduling, communication, and service are handled with discretion from consultation through completion.
Schedule your at-home fitting and we’ll come directly to you at your home or office. During the appointment, we’ll assess fit, take precise measurements, and discuss your tailoring needs. Your garments are then brought back to our studio where the work is completed with care and expertise. Once finished, your items are delivered back to you perfectly tailored and ready to wear.

What to Expect

What happens during the appointment?
During your appointment, you’ll try on your garments while your tailor evaluates fit, takes precise measurements, and discusses the necessary alterations with you. Any adjustments needed are noted on the spot to ensure accuracy and comfort.
How long does it take?
That depends on how many garments you have to try on. Typically, a persona fitting (5 garments or less) takes approximately 30 minutes.
Where is the work done?
All tailoring is completed at our studio located on 36th Street in Manhattan, where each garment is handled with care and expert craftsmanship.
How do I receive my finished items?
Once the work is complete, your garments are delivered back to you—ready to wear.
